Hi, my name is Ben

For most of my life, I’ve been known as, and self-identified as “the guy who kicks a ball.” But recently, I’ve been trying to restructure the way I see the world, and the way I am perceived – navigating pre-conceived notions of my previous surroundings, to have a more open mind not only to branch my personality into unknown territories, but to also expand my ability to investigate true conflicts, real conversations, and captivating stories, with a completely unbiased perspective.

Multimedia and journalism — two fancy words that meant nothing to me just over a year ago. Personal tragedy and constant dream-chasing has led me to British Columbia, Canada, across the pond from my original place of residence, Preston, England. I am here to both study and play the sport I grew up playing full-time in a new setting with a constantly jam packed schedule. I’m especially into political media, outdoor sports, and figuring out why people (and countries) can’t seem to get along.
